Renovation of old units on Barnsley Retail Estate

Freemont Building were employed to rejuvenate a derelict and badly vandalised former Comet Store on Barnsley Retail Park, Twibell Street.

Our works involved the full strip out of the former unit, construction of a new dividing wall to separate the single unit into 2, construction of new ancillary spaces, roof and cladding repairs and re-spraying, internal drainage modifications, internal decoration of cladding and steelwork, floor slab repairs and re-screeding, installation of high strength security doors, new shopfronts and external area improvements.

The building on this Barnsley Retail shopping centre was given a much needed new lease of life and is now fully let to new commercial tenants Screwfix and Easy Bathrooms.
