New Build Dockyard Bar at Media City UK

Freemont building were contracted to build and fit out the Dockyard pub/bar at Media City UK in Salford Quays, Manchester.

The Dockyard was the first independent neighbourhood pub to open at Media City UK.

We took it from an empty shell to a fully operational real ale bar in a demanding 6 week fast track programme.

Freemont Building completed the full fit out of the scheme including the supply of all the catering equipment, kitchen extraction systems, and bespoke joinery installation.

The original scheme involved a large amount of reclaimed oak which, when priced, far exceeded the client’s budget.

We suggested reclaimed scaffold boards as an alternative, which the client and architect were both very happy with, and brought the scheme back within budget.
